About the artwork
Boom Boom (2022) is a tufted textile work in wool, acrylic, UV-reactive threads and lurex. A dense form in black, purple and pink closes around a pale central field with a green core.
The long pile gives the outline a soft, bodily presence. A pulse emerges between the dark fields of colour and the pale centre, repeating throughout the work.
