About the artwork
Droppen (2025) is an oil painting on canvas in which a seated figure carries a glowing drop within. The drop is the inner glow that gives rise to vitality and desire. The figure’s three faces can be read as past, present and future, while red bands sweep out from the chest towards the blue moon.
The motif first appeared during a meditation and became a painting about the glow that carries desire through life’s different stages.
