About the artwork
Flora Kraft (2022) is a suspended textile sculpture made using machine knitting and dyeing. Linen, UV-reactive threads, lurex, biodegradable yarn and metal form a knitted column that gives way to fringes, folded lengths and loose threads.
Under UV light, other colours and layers emerge from the material. The work is part of Elastica Symbiotica and was shown at Konstfack’s Spring Exhibition in 2022 and as part of Konstväxlingar at Odenplan in 2023–2024.
