Glädjedans (2024) is a painting in acrylic and oil on canvas, in which curls and spirals in blue, yellow and pink swirl across a pale ground. This dance of joy is a painterly dance in which joy leads and the brush follows, while the colour finds its steps as emotion guides it. The composition emerged slowly from this joyful process.
At the centre sits a small flower, the flower of joy, happily vulnerable and open to whatever life brings. The white pearls hanging from threads across the image are points of contact, pearls of connection. The painting formed part of the immersive theatre production Elysium in November and December 2025.
