About the artwork
Grönskan (2024) is an oil painting on canvas in which broad leaf forms in green, blue and sea-green grow over and into one another in a painterly dance. The painting is a tribute to the energies of plant growth and the rhythm in which they move. The movement was followed intuitively.
The motif is framed by a border of unpainted canvas. The border is a deliberate choice: to let a sharp line meet the flowing forms and see what the encounter does to the image as a whole. The painting formed part of the immersive theatre production Elysium in November and December 2025.
