About the artwork
Själafrö (2024) is a painting in acrylic and oil on canvas in which pink bands, moon phases, drop-shaped forms, a face and a large eye move across a dark-purple ground.
The large eye meets the viewer’s gaze, while the face above rests with its eye closed. The contrast between the two gazes creates movement through the image’s symbols and forms.
