About the artwork
Svarta Nätters Häst (2021) is a children’s book project made in gouache on watercolour paper and digital collage. In one scene, a child rides a black horse through purple rain above a colourful city. In another, the child lies awake beneath a large, billowing duvet.
The images move between the stillness of the bedroom and a dramatic journey through the night. Painting and collage build a world in which dream, unease and adventure flow together.
