About the exhibition

At the Konstfack Degree Exhibition, held from 21 to 27 May 2022, Amandah L’Narte presented her degree project Elastica Symbiotica: In Search for The Garden of Fiber Delights at Galleri Konstfack.

Suspended textile sculptures, tufted floor works, fringes and winding forms spread out before a curved black backdrop. Machine knitting, tufting, printing and sculptural embroidery came together in a garden of fibre delights, created as a place for rest, nourishment and unexpected encounters.

On 21 and 22 May, the installation came to life through The Elastica Symbiotica Soundscape Adventure: A Meditative Sound Journey Through the Garden of Fiber Delights. This intuitive, playful and meditative sound journey was created in collaboration with performance artist Áron Birtalan.
