Re-building

Group exhibition · Galleri Gemla, Stockholm

6 October 2022 to 9 October 2022

Flora Kraft, a tall knitted textile sculpture in purple, blue and pink, hangs from the ceiling, with long pale-blue threads trailing towards the floor. Below it, a tufted work with dark-blue ovals and radiating threads spreads across the concrete floor, with a pile of yellow autumn leaves to the left.

About the exhibition

Re-building was a group exhibition by Supportive Structures at Galleri Gemla in Stockholm during Stockholm Craft Week, from 6 to 9 October 2022. Amandah L’Narte participated with Flora Kraft and a tufted work.

The knitted sculpture hung from the ceiling, with long threads extending down towards the tufted work on the floor. The installation invited visitors to lie down beneath the suspended sculpture and experience the work while resting.
