Surface pattern & illustration licensing
License surface patterns and illustrations from a visual world that continues to grow. The designs can be used for fashion, interiors and paper goods, either as they are or adapted for your production.
Amandah L’Narte has previously created patterns and illustrations for clients including H&M, Weekday and SAS.
What determines the licensing fee
A licence is priced according to its terms. Six factors determine the fee:
- Exclusivity
- A non-exclusive licence, exclusivity within a product category or territory, or a full buyout of the rights.
- Territory
- Where the products will be sold.
- Term
- One season, one year or longer.
- Product category
- What the design will be used on.
- Production run
- The size of the production run.
- Adaptation rights
- Permission to recolour the design or adapt a pattern repeat. Adaptation rights increase the fee.
Pricing is provided on request, and every quote is issued in writing.
What’s included
Your licence includes an agreement that clearly sets out the rights, territory and term, along with files in the format your production requires. You work directly with Amandah throughout, without intermediaries.
