About the artwork
Floral (2025) is a surface pattern with a 90 × 120 centimetre repeat, developed from an original in liquid ink. Against the black ground, white plant forms, flower heads and seed pods spread across a dense botanical landscape.
The organic forms flow into one another, creating a surface with no clear beginning or end. The black-and-white colourway brings the ink lines, rhythm and intricate detail to the fore.
